'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' Trailer

Here's another one I was ready to write off and what do they do? The brand it Marvel Knights, rate it "R" and put Idris Elba in the cast. I may not go to the theater to see it, but I will watch it. Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures' and Hyde Park Entertainment's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny - still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter - is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy - and possibly rid himself of his curse forever. Directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Screenplay by Scott M. Gimple & Seth Hoffman and David S. Goyer. Story by David S. Goyer. Based on the Marvel Comic. Produced by Steven Paul, Ashok...

"Captain America: The First Avenger" - A Conversation between Geeks

SPOILER ALERT! As with "Thor" my pre-Captain America-viewing, and post-viewing contact was LA Filmcutter . Notes have been compared and a review (more like a conversation between geeks) has been written... 11:00 AM [text message from AP]: Headed to theater for Capt America [text message from LA]: Can't wait to hear your thoughts. As always, make sure you stay through the credits. [AP]: Right! 1:34 PM [AP]: Wow! That was great! Credits are rolling. 1:58 PM [AP]: There is so much to like about that movie! [LA]: Yes, yes, and... ? [AP]: Facebooking ya! [LA]: Cool! 2:30 PM (Facebook Message from AP): Okay, let's review this thing! First off, if only Joe Johnston had had that kind of budget, effects and studio support when he made "The Rocketeer!" Second, it was just a great, good old-fashioned, action movie! But where do you really begin? Winks and nods to the history of Cap, the Howling Commandos, Indiana Jones, The Rocketeer, jeez wha...

Captain America: The Muppet Avenger

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. More MUPPETS here.

The Amazing Spider-Man - Teaser Trailer

Well despite the decidedly dark tone of this trailer I got a strange sense of deja vu, flashbacks to 2002. But you watch and decide for yourself. The Amazing Spider-Man

Captain America: The First Avenger's Soundtrack

Broadcast during the classical music station of NYC, WQXR's "Movies On The Radio", aired memorable music from various superhero flicks. And the station essentially premiered a preview of Alan Silvestri's heroic score for Marvel and Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger film. Seeming just right for the much-anticipated period-telling of Marvel's star spangled Avenger, listen to over ten minutes of the composition below, via the great RIMBreaks. (via ComicBookMovie.com )
