James Whitmore, the veteran Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor who brought American icons Will Rogers, Harry Truman and Theodore Roosevelt to life in one-man shows, died Friday. He was 87.

God bless him! To be honest, I didn't even realize he was still alive when I heard of his passing. Great and talented actor! I watched his one man shows when they did versions for HBO and the like.
