What a shame. We have lost so many talented and creative folk this past year. And now one of the greatest (if not the greatest) special effects pioneers.
Stan Winston, father of the Alien, the Predator and this summer's Iron Man died Sunday after a lengthy bout with myeloma. This guy could make anything, no matter how fantastic, seem real and alive. I mean c'mon, he gave us the Terminator and the AFLAC duck!
