Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy directed by Tomas Alfredson, from a screenplay by Bridget O'Connor and Peter Straughan based on the 1974 novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John le Carré. The film stars Gary Oldman as George Smiley, and co-star Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Mark Strong, Ciarán Hinds and Benedict Cumberbatch. It was produced through the British company Working Title Films and financed by France's StudioCanal. “In the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley (Oldman) is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet agent within MI6’s echelons.” Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy will hit theaters nationwide on November 18.
